ダウト recently released the single あいするひと。 Well was I ever surprised when this single came with two PV's!
あいするひと is a calm slightly boring PV in a way...
I do really like it, it's just different in an okay way. :)
The lyrics are quite sweet. I do really like them...
I guess ダウト just hasn't been then same since they've went major.
I really do like their Indies songs better, and I know that they change to meet a bigger fanbase.
But I do miss the old ダウト!!! Ｔ.Ｔ :(
That being said, they do seem to be trying to retain their old style. **Trying being the key word here**

And onto Doping!
Well... I witnessed something that I'm not too sure about.
The PV 'Doping' is quite different from the PV あいするひと...
and it is... quite... interesting...in... its... own way...
I'm really not sure how to take this one... especially after watching the Single's titled PV...
It's more adult than other PV's they've done when it comes to the actual video.
And Kouki (幸喜) is rapping in this one.
I haven't listened to all of their songs, but I have listened to a lot of them.
And the only one that seems similar to this one is Kimon (鬼門).
I do like that song... but this song AND PV have certain traits that I've seen done by Born.
Especially their "Red Emotion" PV.
I guess what i'm trying to say is that it's quite weird for me to see ダウト take a similar path with their music and PVs...
The beats are catchy, and I don't really mind the rapping. It's just coming from 幸喜!!!
That's what I can't seem to get past.
I'll probably update this review in another week or so with a final judgement.
And it'll probably be positive.
But I can't guarantee that.

みんな！！ I must say something about my choice of words in this particular post...
I am a HUGE fan of ダウト and always will be. I may not agree with their recently chosen path for their music. BUT I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT THEM!!! The only reason to not buy their CD's is if their music becomes unbearable. If that time comes, I will still keep an eye on them to see if they eventually improve, but in the meantime, I will be getting as many of their older CD's as possible. Maybe the higher amount of their older CD's being sold compared to their newer ones will make them realize that they need to incorporate more of their older sound into their new chosen path.
All in all, this is ONLY my OPINION! These aren't facts unless there is statistics involved... and I don't have the resources to find that out, neither do I have the will to actually use the statistics that I tortured over learning the last semester of University.
